Somatic Prompts

interactive installation, 2026

School of Machines, Making & Make-Believe, Performative Media, Berlin

Somatic Prompts is an interactive installation inviting visitors to respond physically to spoken instructions and projected visuals that react to their movements. The prompts remain open to individual interpretation, allowing each visitor to develop their own bodily response. A camera tracks the body through MediaPipe, transforming the projected image in real time through mirrored figures, words, circles and animated creatures. The work creates a playful feedback loop between instruction, bodily interpretation and digital response.
